How do I make a booking?

Is an acceptance of my booking request a guarantee that i have secured the event space for my event?

Yes it is. At De Orange Place, we only receive funds for confirmed reservations.

Can i negotiate the stated prices for booking a hall?

We try to go the extra mile for our clients and are willing to make certain concessions where possible.

Does booking a hall give us access to the Lounge?

The lounge is accessible by all even if there is no hall booking.

Are reservations made for the lounge also?

Reservations can be made in advance for small groups. For this, you do not need to pay. However, clients are required to purchase food and beverages from the facility. Clients can also get discount on the price of a birthday cake and the likes.

What is the capacity of your halls?

Our big hall has a total capacity of 1,200 theatre style and 700 banquet style. Our small hall has a capacity of 350 theatre style and 250 banquet style.

How & where do I make payment for my booking(s)

Payment can be made via bank transfer or via POS at the centre. Cheque payments will only be confirmed after clearing.

What is included in hall rentals?

Power generator & diesel, security & traffic control, DJ, parking, air-conditioning, tables and chairs, stage etc.

How long do I have access to the hall?

Maximum of 10 hours per event. Subsequent hours attract a fee of 50,000 per hour.

Are there any other (hidden) charges?

There are no other hidden charges.

Do you offer catering services?

Yes, we offer catering services at affordable prices.

When can we see the hall or set up a meeting before making a booking?

We are available between 9am and 6pm for inspection and enquiries.

How much does it cost to book a hall?

Big hall: ₦900,000
Small hall: ₦500,000

Do you require a deposit or insurance?

We do not require insurance. We do require a refundable deposit of 50,000 as caution fee.

Are there any complementary services offered to clients?

Free Sound system.

What are your opening days and hours?

Monday to Saturdays for the event centre and everyday for the lounge

Event centre: 9am – 6am (Mondays – Saturdays)
Lounge: 12pm – 1am

Who has access to the lounge?

Every client has access to the lounge.

What are your booking policies?

Booking must be made directly to facility staff with 50% down payment at least one month before intended date of usage. We require full payment at most 2 weeks before.

How about cancellation & refund?

Cancellation is free up till 2 weeks before your event after which 50% of total rate of the hall will be deducted.
